Flew Frontier at dark o'clock - lay over in Denver - arrived in Albequerque - met by Lori and her boyfriend, Al.
Lunch at the Route 66 Diner - I had the fender bender and my diet coke came with a bendy straw (!)
Drove to Santa Fe. Settled into our time share. Sent the guys to the store for provisions and Mom and I decided on the restaurant for dinner.
Went to Maria's Cantina, a local hangout and authentic New Mexican food. Saw Samuel L. Jackson,
what a treat. He was very cool and relaxed, holding court at a large rond table, wearing round specs and tweedy Kongol cap.

Recently I purchased a Route 66 quilting book at Bear Paws and Holly Hocks. I am so excited because there are wonderful embroideries in the book and I am going to start planning it. For my DH. We have to talk about where on Route 66 you have been. If I remember I will bring the book to Time for Tea and Embroidery at the end of the month.
